Today is New Year's Eve and we are finishing up a marathon 10-days-of-togetherness. We decided to stay put this Christmas and had no guests, so we did our best to fill the days with fun activities. Not that we were always successful! I hate to admit it but the word "bored" crossed my lips a few times. It didn't help that poor Anne Peyton woke up from her Christmas Eve nap with a 102 degree fever. So we missed going to Christmas Eve church service, a party at the Hauhuths, and our trip up to Avon to spend Christmas day with Teri & Casey. Fortunately she had bouts of feverlessness and was well enough to open gifts and revel in the day with us

The best was that it was a WHITE CHRISTMAS! We woke up to the white stuff coming down Christmas morning, and it didn't stop for awhile. Simply beautiful, and the perfect day to stay put.
